On 6th. instant 2 Chinese Maritime Customs Stations

at Mire Bay and on the 10th. 2 such stations in Deep Bay were loot-

-ød for the sake of arms and cash contained therein by a gang of

robbers hired by the rebel party. ▲ 1mnch licensed in Hongkong

but flying the Chinese flag has also been pirated en route to Chi-

-nese port Fast of the Colony and her two Indian Guarda killed,

All quiet in the Colony and no fear of active sympathy with rebels.
